Personal profile

Associate Professor, Deputy Director, Master's Tutor, Department of Maternal and Child Health, School of Public Health, Peking University. She has been engaged in epidemiological research on maternal and child health for the past two decades. Her research team has been responsible for UNICEF's “Mother and Child Health Development Project” in poverty-stricken areas in western China for three consecutive cycles. She has extensive experience in quantitative surveys of maternal and child health status, application of evaluation indicators and project evaluation in underdeveloped areas. In recent years, with the improvement of maternal and child survival in China, research has focused on the psychological and behavioral problems of women and children.

She currently serves as secretary General of the Eighth National Committee on Maternal and Child Health Standards and is currently a member of the Committee on Early Life Development and Disease Prevention and Control of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association and a member of the Youth Committee of the Women's Health Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. Since the work, she has undertaken nearly 40 research projects on maternal and child health of the National Health Commission, the National Nature Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Key Research and Development project, UNICEF and UNFPA. She has published a total of 113 academic papers in domestic and international journals, including 78 papers with first author or corresponding author, with an impact factor of up to 18 points.
